Originally from Hawaii, Patricia Leolani relocated to Washington, D.C. in 1979 to work for U.S. Representative Daniel K. Akaka.
She continues to be a member of his staff since he became a U.S. Senator in 1990.

Besides her undergraduate in Business Administration, she is also a graduate of the National Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and has performed as a featured actor, singer and dancer at Carnegie Recital Hall, Arena Stage and the Kennedy Center.

She is currently a member of the St. Mark's Dance Company, known for liturgical dance performances.

Her film work includes national public service announcements and industrials for the Central Intelligence Agency, Federal Express, U.S. Postal Service and the Dept of Health and Human Services.


As the coordinator of the Foundation of I, Inc. Freedom of the Cosmos' Washington, D.C. Center, she is deeply committed to promoting a holistic approach to mental, physical and spiritual health through the arts.
