Ann Cleckley is a native Washingtonian. She was raised in the LeDroit Park area of Washington, D.C., not too far from Gallaudet University.
Ann studied sign language at Gallaudet and made many deaf friends. She is a full time DC public school teacher working with blind, visually impaired, and deaf-blind students.
Ann joined the BELIEVE family on May 24, 2007. She is married, has two children and two grandchildren. She attends the historical, Mt. Airy Baptist church, a monument to Jesus.
